Photographer Danilo Arata will be exhibiting his photographic work, Sacred and Profane, at the Malta Society of Arts, Valletta from 13 April till 3 May 2018.
Arata’s collection of photographs were taken during his travels around the globe while working as a pilot. The inspiration to create these works stemmed from a fascination towards diverse cultures and their societies. Focusing on how similar and yet different societies are, immortalising through photography what is perceived as sacred and otherwise, within his voyages.
The official opening will be held on Friday 13 April between 20:00 and 23:00 at the Art Galleries, Palazzo de La Salle, 219, Republic Street, Valletta.
The exhibition will be open until 3 May as follows:
Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 19:00
Saturday from 08:30 to 13:30.
