Friends of Europe is organising a debate on civic empowerment in Malta on Friday 14 September from 17:30-19:00 at St James Cavalier in Valletta.
The organisers are looking for a diverse group of people to stimulate and enrich the debate, and are welcoming everyone who鈥檚 interested in going and taking part (no age restrictions).
You鈥檒l have a chance to help identify three key recommendations for ways to improve the direct participation of citizens in European democracies. These recommendations will be translated into a series of live, pan-European debates on direct democracy and shared with European decision makers in the lead up to the 2019 European elections.
