The Strada Stretta Concept, under the auspices of the Valletta 2018 Foundation presents 'Medieval Bohemian Cabaret', a music concert with Tom Armitage and Kirsty Williamson, under the artistic direction of Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci.
The event will be held on Tuesday 28 August at 20:00.
The setup will be Bohemian 1920's French cafe society cabaret, settings where composers such as Debussy and Hahn would have played their pieces for the first time. There will also be a world premiere of a song cycle called 'Monts茅gur', written by Tom Armitage and performed by Kirsty Williamson. It is an Occitan and uses 6 medieval poems by female troubadours.
