The Kids in Development (KIDs) Programme is currently looking for the support of volunteers to plan and assist in summer activities for children using the programme. Volunteers are required for the following activities:
- tutoring
- science experiments
- personal care and grooming
- sports and physical activity
- arts and crafts
- music
- cooking
- other activities done outside KIDs premises
About KIDs
KIDs residential programme supports children who experienced severe emotional and behavioural difficulties. We focus on helping them develop healthy attachments, a sense of self-worth and personal development in a safe environment. Click here to read more.
Requirements: In addition to experience delivering the above activities, experience with children who have behavioural difficulties will be considered an asset.
Duration: Volunteers are required to commit to 3 hours per week between the beginning of July till the second week of September.
Training: Richmond Foundation will provide an induction training to all the volunteers recruited.
Starting date: July 2021
