Following the success of Ozzy Lino’s Stones to Peppers last May, the musician returns to Teatru Manoel with the band and a new set list.
The electro-acoustic journey is returning to Teatru Manoel this September with new singers and radio presenter Jason ‘Jay’ Zammit, who will be hosting the concert.
Stones to Peppers II – the second Acoustic Journey Through the Rock Classics conceived and directed by Ozzy Lino, will take an electro acoustic journey through decades of rock classics, with songs by U2, The Stones, No Doubt, Alanis Morisette, One Republic and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The programme will also include rock-inspired numbers by many other chart-topping bands and artists such as Eagle eyed Cherry, Mr Big and Johnny Cash.
Top Maltese singers Ozzy Lino, Janice Debattista and Ben Purple lead the cast, accompanied by guitarists Wayne Camilleri, Ryan Magro, Mark Axiak, with bassist
Stefan Xuereb and David Ciantar on piano. An equally strong percussion and rhythm section also supports them, with Kurt Scerri and Aaron Sammut on percussions.
Stones to Peppers II – the Second Acoustic Journey Through The Rock Classics will be performed at Teatru Manoel on 23, 24, 25 September 2022 at 20:00. The event is suitable for audience members aged six and above and adheres to current public health recommendations.
