Bullying: The Child鈥檚 Perspective
Friday, 23 October 2015
The President鈥檚 Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society, in collaboration with the University of Malta鈥檚 Centre for Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health, is organising the 1st National Conference on Children鈥檚 Wellbeing, with a focus on the child鈥檚 perspective on bullying. The conference will bring together international experts on the issue of bullying, to share current research on this issue, mainly targeted towards professionals working directly with children. The conference will also set an example of good practice by mainstreaming child participation, and innovatively eliciting the perspectives of children on this complex phenomenon. Discussions will focus on what constitutes bullying, and the responses which are effective from the child鈥檚 perspective.
Spaces at the conference are limited, and available on a first come first served basis. A conference fee of 30 euros is applicable in order to secure booking.
