Co-LEAD Project

The Institute for Tourism Travel and Culture, University of Malta, together with four partners from UK and Bulgaria, implemented the EU funded project Co-operating for Leadership in Tourism under the ERASMUS+ Programme for education, training, youth and sport 2014-2020.
This project aims to develop and test capacity building, and develop tools to train a team of professional people and trainers with appropriate skills and expertise. These will then be able to directly assist destinations and enterprises towards the growth of sustainable tourism, in line with the priorities of the strategy Europe 2020.
Co-Lead counts on the participation of organizations from Malta, United Kingdom and Bulgaria dealing with sustainable tourism; management of tourism destinations, heritage sites, events, and the has been designed to plan and implement tourism projects with sustainability.
In this event, the following items will be covered by Project Partners:
- General overview of the Co-Lead Project
- Project Management for Sustainable Tourism
- Cooperation opportunities within the Co-Lead project.
The official launch of the Co-Lead Project will take place on the 19 February 2016 from 08:30 to 11:00 at Europe House, Valletta. There will be a coffee break at the end of the event offered by the ITTC as the Project Lead Partner.
Seating is limited and reservations will be made on a first come first served basis. Only confirmed attendees will be provided with seating. Guests are invited to reserve the place sending an email to Dr Giusy Cardia by the 15 February.
