The University Chaplaincy will be organising Lenten talks, in English, during Holy Week. The talks will begin on Monday 21 March at 20:00, and run through to Wednesday 23 March. Fr Pavulraj Michael will be delivering the talks, during which he will be delving deeper into the image of the suffering Christ, the Christian understanding of suffering, the image of the Cross and the God of love in suffering.
Fr Pavulraj Michael is an Indian Jesuit who entered the Society of Jesus in 1984. He was ordained a Priest in 1996 and took his final vows in 1996 in 2003. Before entering the Society, Fr Michael followed a B.Sc. in Chemistry. During his formation he followed higher degrees in Chemistry, Philosophy and Theology. He currently teaches spirituality at the Pontificia Universit脿 Gregoriana in Rome.
