The President of the Chamber of Scientists Professor Alex Felice, the Editor-in-Chief, Professor Giuseppe Di Giovanni, and all the Editorial Board of , invite the public to the Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Xjenza.
The Celebration will be held at the Aula Magna, University of Malta, Valletta Campus on Friday, 23 September at 19:00.
During the Celebration, the will be presented to the public and to the media. Xjenza entered the world of scientific journals with its first .
Rector Professor Alfred J Vella will deliver a speech on 'Doing Science on a small island state: the challenges for the University and its surroundings and the role of Xjenza'. This will be followed by an address by President Alex Felice and the various Editors of Xjenza from Prof. Angela Xuereb, the first Editor in Chief to Prof. Giuseppe Di Giovanni the current Editor in Chief.
The Minister for Education and Employment, Mr Evarist Bartolo, the CEO at MCST, Dr Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, Pro-Rector Research & Knowledge Transfer, Prof. Ing. Saviour Zammit, and the Director Library ¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÃâ·Ñ, University of Malta, Mr Kevin J. Ellul, will participate in the discussion on the importance of scientific publications in Science and Technology National Development.
