Go4Research student internship programme was launched earlier this year, when winners of the Malta Junior Science Olympiad were given the opportunity to work alongside researchers at the Faculty of Science, University of Malta in seven different STEM fields. Students worked in research areas ranging from the world of the very small to the vastness of the universe. The students were able to determine the amount of days for one solar revolution, observe plant samples under the microscope, as well as manipulate apparatus in the Electromagnetics laboratory, to statistically analyze data.
Certificates for the completion of the Go4Research student internship programme will be presented by the Minister for Education and Employment, the Hon. Evarist Bartolo on Friday 1 September at 19:00 at The Auditorium, University of Malta Valletta Campus.
