On 15 November 2017, from 18:00 to 21:00, the Final Event of the Project “Co-operating for Leadership in Tourism” (Co-Lead Tourism), funded by the ERASMUS + Programme, will be taking place at the University of Malta-Msida Campus.
Co-Lead Tourism is a European framework project aiming to develop and test capacity building tools to train professionals to directly assist destinations and enterprises in their strategies, plans and actions for sustainable tourism growth.
Co-Lead Tourism counts on the participation of organizations from Malta, United Kingdom and Bulgaria dealing with sustainable tourism and with management of tourism destinations, heritage and cultural sites. The Project is built upon the PM4SD – project management for sustainable development – methodology designed and endorsed at EU level to sustainably plan and implement tourism and cultural projects.
In the project Final event, the following will be covered by Project Partners and speakers representing some of the most relevant stakeholders in tourism and culture sector at local level:
- General overview of the Co-Lead Project
- Overview of the updated PM4SD Methodology
- Review of Project outputs and results
- Presentation of local and European case studies for transferring skills in tourism and culture sector
The Co-Lead Project is co-funded by the European Commission through ERASMUS+, EU programme for education, training, youth and sport for 2014-2020.
