Inauguration of Christmas on Campus 2017    

with the participation of the 

University Wind Ensemble on quadrangle

Free santa hats will be distributed

The University of Malta Campus is once again looking very pretty and Christmassy.  Lights decorate the various buildings and the Christmas tree is up on the Quad. Music, festive food, a crib installation, cultural tours, sale of poinsettias, wine tasting, and the Christmas Novena are all part of  this year’s line-up of activities. A jam-packed programme creates the background for the raising of funds for l-Istrina and Id-Dar tal-Providenza.

The theme for this year is Overcome Indifference, Build a Culture of Encounter.

Inauguration takes place on the 11th December under the auspices of H.E. Marie Louise Coleiro Preca. 

Thursday 14 December is Red Sweater Day, a dress-down day for students and staff, with a wine-tasting session thrown in. The Enkor Christmas Concert takes place in the Chapel on Friday 15 in the evening, while on Monday 18 December there’s the Christmas Novena in the Chapel, animated by the University Staff Choir with the participation of MUSEUM members. 

Yorika, X-tend, and Mr Cool will be giving their all during performances on the Quad as well as in the canteen. 

On Boxing Day, a cheque will be presented to L-Istrina while on New Year’s Day another cheque will be presented to Id-Dar tal-Providenza.
