The Faculty of Arts of the University of Malta is proud to announce the premiere screening of 'Boy Wonder' and 'Vitor', two short films by the students of the M.A. in Film Studies.
The films will be screened for the first time in Malta on Sunday 20 May at the Auditorium, Old University Building, St Paul Street, Valletta at 17:30.
These productions, which constitute the centre-piece of the M.A. in Film Studies, have been made by the students themselves under the supervision of award-winning directors Antonio Piazza and Fabio Mollo as well as the director of photography Jana Marsik.
Boy Wonder
A timid schoolboy lives in a quiet alleyway in Birgu. His curiosity is piqued when someone moves into the house opposite his. When one day he knocks on its red door, it opens up to a very curious encounter.
Vitor
Vitor; a retired craftsman, leaves his home in Birgu one morning for his usual coffee break. When he returns he finds a family of four have moved into his apartment. Strangely, it looks like they had been living there for quite some time.
