Synopsis
A young boy named Theo takes his first fishing trip along with his father and grandfather on board a small fishing vessel. The journey turns into a nightmare when the boat catches fire and sinks, leaving everyone missing at sea. Meanwhile, a young doctor, Alex, is forced to stay on a Turkish merchant ship with a group of immigrants on board, while there is a bureaucratic war between Malta and Italy to determine which country must accept them. The two stories take place in parallel, culminating in tragedy.
