As the world faces more and more unprecedented challenges, from the coronavirus to climate change, and other wicked problems, we must come together to explore new ways of working by embracing diversity. SciCulture (ERASMUS+ funded) aims to bring students and professionals from the artistic, scientific, and entrepreneurial fields together for innovative, solution-oriented thinking and by incorporating design thinking to encourage collaboration and transdisciplinary practices. Previously they had achieved this through their intensive courses, led course leaders that are experts in creative pedagogy, science, design, and business. SciCulture wants to connect with educational institutes to spread transdisciplinary approaches to problem-solving in classrooms and professional sectors, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, their last two international events had to postponed
So on 16 Dec, SciCulture is hosting an online Dialogic event. The team based at the University of Malta will be leading this event, introducing you to the ethos of SciCulture and explain how the principles of design thinking, alongside the application of creative pedagogies and transdisciplinarity, are vital in effective collaborations.
They hope that this event will facilitate a healthy and constructive conversation and provide insight into the benefits of transdisciplinary collaboration alongside alternative thinking approaches for progressive futures. If you want to be a part of the discussion and take part in this event, register for more information.
