It is not too late.... we can still participate!
Thinking of what to do during the Earth Day celebrations this year?
Join us in this free event, as we unravel new conversations, ideas and possibilities on how we can continue to participate - participate in spreading consciousness to help our Mother Earth. At the time when the pandemic has altered the way we study, live and work, this timely conversation will share examples on how we can catalyse change by promoting a socially and environmentally-conscious economy; as well as going back to our roots - encouraging more creative ways to promote a pro-environment way of life! This event is open to everyone – students, faculty, staff as well as our community outside the University.
A mini-film festival will follow - giving registered participants free access to these three (3) films, "KISS THE GROUND", "RIVER'S END", and "SEEDING CHANGE" which were released in 2020 - thanks to the generosity of the films' grant funders. You can watch these films at your convenience after the panel event.
Our confirmed inspirers include:
- Dr Censu Caruana - University of Malta (Topic: "Interventions for a Social Economy")
- Dr Mia Perry - University of Glasgow (Topic: "Creative and Indigenous Participation for a Sustainable Future")
Upon registration, participants will be given the Zoom event link upon registration to the programme.
