The University of Malta would like to invite you to an event to commemorate the United Nation's 16 days of Activism Against Gender-Based violence. 

The programme is as follows:

1. Introduction: Pro-Rector for Student and Staff Affairs Prof. Carmen Sammut

2. The UN’s 16 Days of Activism in Malta: Dr Lydia Abela

3. Results of a study on sexual harassment on campus: Prof. JosAnn Cutajar, Chair Gender and Sexual Diversity Committee

4. Launch of the newly revised Sexual harassment Policy: Prof. Maureen Cole

5. Launch of an awareness campaign on Sexual Harassment, produced by students of the Masters in Gender, Society and Culture, Faculty of Social Wellbeing 

6. Domestic violence as experienced by Students and Staff: Head of the Counselling Unit, Dr Joan Camilleri

7. How can we sensitize students and staff to stop gender-based violence; Ms Elena Borg (counsellors) and Donatella Pace Olivari (social worker)

8. Combatting gender-based violence: Kunsill Studenti Universitarji

9. Conclusion
