Title: SciCulture End of the Project Conference
Date: 13 November 2021
Time: 09:00 - 17:30
Venue: Valletta Design Cluster, Valletta
The SciCulture project is nearing its end and to mark this, a Conference for educators, researchers, artists, entrepreneurs and overall innovators will take place at Valletta on 13 November. The theme that the SciCulture project worked on is Transdisciplinary approaches for societal change - how different backgrounds come together to address wicked problems. This conference is the wrap-up of the Erasmus+ funded project SciCulture.
Under the main theme, the Conference will have 3 foci:
- Collaboration, creativity and innovation in education
- RRI (responsible research and innovation) in education and research
- Posthumanism for problem solving and innovative pedagogies.
On the last leg of a 4-year journey, what has emerged from our attempts to respond to wicked problems? How have innovative pedagogical approaches unified different backgrounds in the search for a common goal? How can design thinking support creativity and transdisciplinarity, in an effort beyond individuality?
Between international keynote speakers, workshops and roundtables, this is a great opportunity to network and discuss with other professionals from various fields. SciCulture is an Erasmus+ project, led by the University of Malta together with Science View in Greece, the University of Exeter in the UK, the University of Bergen in Norway and Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands. Funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
