It is common practice that coaching sessions and other practical tasks are set and delivered using one pedagogy to suit all. This automatically means that we tend to dismiss the need for differentiated approaches when working with different individuals. We know that children have different orientations, thus one can draw on this variety to help provide a more effective teaching, coaching and learning experience. The talk will look into the qualities of ego and task orientations and discuss approaches which would align well with such qualities.
