Online learning and teaching can be tricky if one does not plan and set the ways of communication and interaction. When teachers had to shift to online teaching because of the pandemic a couple of years ago, in Turku UAS, some professors were more than ready to operate online as there have been three degree programmes completely online since 2017.

Milla Jarvipetaja (M.Soc.Sci) is a Senior Lecturer and Research Group Leader at Turku University of Applied Sciences. She has nearly 25 years of work experience in managing and executing projects in creative fields. Media education and curriculum development are her core expertise areas: she has taught media project management for ten years and operates as a developer in Future Learning Design team at TURKU UAS. Järvipetäjä has significant experience in developing curricula, course syllabi and online pedagogy, both in Turku UAS and in international projects. She operates as Innopeda expert trainer and is strongly involved in pedagogical products export. Her research is currently focused on the career paths of journalism and communication students.
