Food has an enormous impact on health, fitness and wellbeing. The Mediterranean diet is often named as one that is especially healthy. It is protective against different diseases and can aid in weight management. Together with fellow nutrition specialist and graduate of the University of Malta Claudine Grech Spiteri, will explain what exactly a Mediterranean diet is, the link with nutrient density and whether or not it has any effects on sport performance. The evening will include scientific insights as well as practical guidance, followed by a short discussion with the speakers.
