The Energy and Water Agency, in collaboration with University and MCAST, are organising a 1.5-day hackathon on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 April 2023, for students and recent graduates to meet and learn from people working for various government agencies in the water and urban greening sectors and to explore being part of a multidisciplinary team to work on a practical challenge to integrate rainwater harvesting and greywater reuse for urban greening. Teams will be guided by mentors from different professional and academic backgrounds to work together to develop practical solutions.
The event could be a good opportunity for students to interact with young professionals working with various government agencies, work in a team with students from different academic backgrounds and learn to pitch ideas. A number of paid internships with the Energy and Water Agency will also be up for grabs at the event.
The event will be held at Esplora, Kalkara and students interested in the event are asked to register for the event .
For further information about this event, please send an email or phone 2777 2777.
Registrations close at 12:00 on Wednesday 26 April 2023.
