The Faculty for Social Wellbeing invites you to attend a round table discussion on gender and sexual diversity being held on Tuesday 12 September at 13:30 in LC118.
The event will commence with the following four presentation:
- Dr Angele Deguara: Did you just say Catholic and gay? Living the conflict arising from an incongruence between one's faith, gender and sexuality
- Mr Tyrone Grima : The staged closet: queerness in Maltese theatre 1973-2009
- Mr Christian Vella: Queering Ageing
- Mr Romario Sciberras: Il-Malti: Lingwa binarja, imma mhux g魔alkollox
- Discussing how sexual and gender diversity is reflected in various programs of studies, and we will be sharing ideas and best practices.
- Discussing research gaps on sexual and gender diversity, listing possible topics for research that can be made available to students.
Your input in the above discussions is greatly valued and appreciated. Heads of Department or their representatives as well as representatives from local NGOs will be attending the round table.
