A seminar for second year Accounting Advanced level students, - ‘Accounting beyond numbers: exploring the multidimensionality of accounting’.
Coffee and lunch shall be provided. The dress code for the seminar is smart casual. Attendance for the seminar is compulsory and students attending the seminar shall be exempted for the day.
The seminar’s objectives are to:
- explore facets of accounting which go beyond the preparation of financial statements;
- develop and enhance knowledge of the subject and soft skills;
- provide information about the different pathways available to become qualified as accountants or in related areas;
- provide awareness of the different areas of work in audit firms; and
- provide the opportunity to meet prospective employers.
