A group of students, members of the Photography Club, recently visited the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences. The aim of the visit was to get to know about the various courses which the Faculty offers, and to experience the techniques used to develop photographic prints in the darkroom. The informative session was led by the Associate Academic, Ms Louiselle Vassallo, whilst the darkroom session was led by visiting lecturer Mr Alfred Cauchi, who has been serving the Faculty for many years and has monumental knowledge in the field of photography. Mr Cauchi also showcased a photographic camera which dated back to 1884!
This collaborative project has been ongoing for the past four years and special thanks go to Professor Gorg Mallia, who was always ready to assist the JC Photography Club in holding this event. Students were accompanied by the club coordinator, Mr Riccardo Flask.
