Nadia Portelli made Maltese running history when she became the first Maltese to complete the full . She is one of 330 people, 35 of whom are women, who completed the full Everesting running challenge worldwide. The consists of running up and down a hill of considerable gradient continuously, anywhere in the world until the height of Everest, 8848m is reached. The run has to be completed in a single event without sleeping. Nadia, being a trail runner, chose a technical trail hill and completed the event in 27 hours 35 minutes while covering a distance of 106km repeatedly.
