An email was sent to all students from the Principal, Mr Paul Xuereb, on Friday 25 September 2020.
In this email, students were welcomed to the new academic year 2020/21, which admittedly, will not be a normal year, given the current circumstances to which we must all adapt.
Mr Xuereb assured students that the College has two main priorities – the health and safety of everyone at College; and the students’ education.
First-year students will start on Monday 19 October, while second-year students on Monday 12 October. Both dates have been published on this website.
Students were informed that:
• it is essential they access their official Junior College email daily, as well as this website and social media regularly for updates. This to ensure that College communications reach students so that they can follow all instructions on time.
• no students are allowed to come to the College until specifically informed to do so.
• in addition to the directions given by the Superintendent of Public Health and the University of Malta, the College has prepared a set of guidelines which will eventually be sent to all students in due time. These guidelines will inform students of what will be expected of them once they are asked to be physically here at the College.
The Principal also stressed the necessity of students being familiar with the and the , as now that the students are maturing, “not knowing” is no longer a valid excuse.
The Principal also strongly advised that students invest in a computer, preferably a portable one. They would also need a microphone, earphones, camera, and ideally, easy access to printing and scanning facilities.
Students were reminded that they should also protect themselves and others by:
• regularly sanitising/washing your hands
• maintaining social distance from everyone
• wearing a mask/visor
• restrict interaction with others to the barest minimum to reduce the risk of transmission.
So far, these measures are the best way to combat the virus.
The Prospectus includes all necessary contacts, but any further queries are to be sent by email
