In terms of Section 3(a)(iv) of SL327.58, 1995, of the Statute of the 臓.F. Abela Junior College, an election by and from the student body was held on Friday, 26 February 2021, to elect two students to sit on the Junior College Board for a period of two years.
Four students were nominated to contest the election:
Aquilina Thea, First-year student
Camilleri Gabriel, First-year student
Galdes Emilia, First-year student
Tanti Gianluca, Second-year student.
From the 721 votes cast by secret ballot, the following results were obtained:
Aquilina Thea - 500 Votes
Camilleri Gabriel - 473 Votes
Galdes Emilia - 245 Votes
Tanti Gianluca - 224 Votes
Ms Thea Aquilina and Mr Gabriel Camilleri have therefore been elected to be the two student representatives on the Junior College Board for a period of two years, with effect from 1 March 2021.
