Use of VLE tools to engage students in remote and non-remote learning
The CPD committee will be organizing a third session in the series Sharing experiences. In this session, the speakers will discuss some collaborative and non-collaborative VLE tools and how the use of such tools helps to improve student learning. This applies to teaching and learning in remote circumstances and also in non-remote face-to-face classroom learning. The tools include quizzes, wikis, glossary and choices. These tools, if appropriately used, provide students with an engaging learning experience and foster a sense of belonging within the class. The participants will be invited to share their experiences and discuss the benefits of including learning activities using these VLE tools.
Speakers: Joe Doublet, Sharon Rolé
Date: Wednesday 17 February 2021 at 14:00
A certificate of participation listing attended CPD events will be awarded.
