In front of various human injustices happening in the world, we sometimes find ourselves helpless, but as believers we trust that there can be a help which is bigger than us. For this reason, on Thursday 16th September, the Chaplaincy at the Junior College hosted a day of prayer and fasting for Afghanistan between 8am and 8pm, with a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna at 9:30am. Each hour, members of various organisations and parishes came to animate the adoration. This day, coordinated by Caritas Malta, the Delegate for Evangelisation, the Migrants’ Commission and Chaplaincy JC, was streamed live on the Archdiocese of Malta’s YouTube channel, with the Mass also broadcasted on TVM2.
