Four students from Junior College, accompanied by lecturers Theresa Hoban and Elaine Borg, participated in an Erasmus+ project meeting in Tokaj, Hungary. The two-year project coordinated by the JC International Office, entitled POP (Proclamation of Positivity) Teachers for Positive Education, is an initiative of our Hungarian hosts in collaboration with other schools from Italy, Spain and Turkey.
The lecturers from all countries prepared various activities related to positive emotions with the students and implemented them in a classroom setting. The scope is to finally create a programme of activities that can be implemented into daily teaching and across cultures. Junior College will be hosting the next project meeting as part of this project later in the year.
This experience is funded under the Erasmus+ KA2, Cooperation in School Partnerships programme.
