A group of six lecturers from the Junior College have recently participated in an Erasmus+ projects coordinated by the JC International Office which involved attending a training course in the field of ICT. The course was held over five days between 9 and 13 May at the Erasmus Learning Academy in Bologna.
The five-day course entitled ‘Integrating ICT and New Technologies into Teaching and Education’ was designed to meet the specific needs of the Junior College learning environment. The sessions involved hands-on training on several digital applications which may be used for formative assessment, class engagement and motivation. The participant group plans to share this knowledge with other members of staff over the next school year, so as to impact other lecturers who have not had the opportunity to attend.
This participation was funded by the Erasmus+ programme, under the Junior College KA1 School Education Accreditation strategy.
