The JC4Others committee is organising an in-house activity of solidarity called I stand by you. The aims of this event which will be taking place in November 2021 are twofold:
- To create awareness about the importance of values such as kindness, generosity and solidarity towards others through a poster exhibition.
- To give an opportunity where students and staff can support individuals in need.
Students and staff can support by:
- Donating One4all gift cards. These vouchers will be given to students in need attending the Junior College. Kindly forward the vouchers to Ms Joanne Grech (Room B102).
- Donating cash for Hospice Malta which is an NGO (VO/0062) that provides free of charge patient-centred palliative care to persons with cancer, motor neuron disease, end of life respiratory, cardiac, renal and liver disease. On Monday 1 November 2021, traditional ‘Krustini’ (tea biscuits) in the shape of a ribbon to keep with the theme in raising awareness for cancer prevention would be available at the foyer against a one-euro donation. Cash can be either forwarded in a sealed enveloped labelled ‘JC4Others, I stand by you’ to Ms Joanne Grech or be deposited in the cash deposit box at reception area.
