March 2nd of every year, the world observes the importance of raising awareness and educating the public about good mental health in teens aged from 10 to 19 years old. Mental health, as defined by World Health Organization (WHO), is "a state of well-being in which the individual realises his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and can make a contribution to his or her community."
At the Junior College, we will be marking this day by the setting up of boards in the Foyer that will give our students the possibility to share their thoughts and reflections about this subject with their peers and teachers in an anonymous way by writing on post-it notes and pinning them on the boards.
