On 23 September 2022 the Department of Foreign Languages within the Junior College hosted the event entitled Per i 60 anni di Diabolik: un incontro con il disegnatore Riccardo Nunziati. The College is proud and honoured to have hosted one of the most prominent comic artists responsible for the drawings of the Diabolik comic, currently being published in Italy. Riccardo Nunziati gave a sublime presentation of his mastery in the techniques of comic art drawing, as well as presenting eloquently the character profile of Diabolik.
This was a public event jointly organized by the Department of Italian (UM), the M.A. in Film Studies (Faculty of Arts), the Istituto Italiano di Cultura – La Valletta, the Department of Foreign Languages (Junior College) and Tomato Farm Agency. The presentation was held in Italian and jointly chaired by Dr Fabrizio Foni and Dr Karl Chircop.
