Junior College students won the prestigious Juvenes Translatores Contest, a competition rewarding the best young translators in the European Union, for the fourth consecutive time.
Giulia Cilia is the winner of the 2022 contest, placing first out of 22 students from six sixth-form colleges in Malta and Gozo.
Two other Junior College students, Julia Barbara and Sage Agius, were awarded 'Special Mention'.
Junior College participated in the Juvenes Translatores Contest, an annual contest rewarding the best young translators in the European Union, which was held on Thursday 24 November. The students translated a text from Maltese to English entitled: Passiggieri 540/800, a story based on Norse mythology, featuring Ask and Emble, the first two humans created by the gods.
