Ms Amie Cauchi, a Junior College student, represented Malta in Luxembourg in the 9th Small States of Europe Games in the discipline of karate last week. She competed against many karatecas from all over the world. She placed 2nd (silver) in 2 categories. She has been practicing karate since the age of 4 years and she achieved her black belt earlier this year. Ms Cauchi is part of the elite athletes of the Olympic committee.
