For the first time, Malta will be participating in the European Statistics Competition (ESC), organised by Eurostat, during 2024. Students aged 14-18 can participate as individuals or as a team of at most 3 members. Students first participate in a national competition, where the winners will proceed to the European competition.
Students interested in participating should send an email to or by Monday 11 December 2023. Some induction and preparation sessions will be held in January. The competition is open to all students who are interested in data analysis and statistics.
