A delegation from Junior College participated in a job shadowing mobility organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, by way of exploring issues pertaining to the organisational set up, curriculum, staff relations and incentive policies, amongst other managerial aspects related to the running of schools.
Hosted by Mount Temple Comprehensive School in Dublin, Ireland between 25 and 27 April, the participants attended area meetings with a special focus on the managerial aspects as well as the recently implemented digital strategies in education. They also observed classroom teaching aimed at good methods and tools, and highlighted possible areas of collaboration between the two organisations. Throughout, a great emphasis was placed on the role of leadership in students' life in school as a way of ensuring future success.
Participants representing the Junior College were Mr Paul Xuereb, Ms Josephine Mallia and Dr Patricia Vella Briffa. This project is coordinated by the JC International Office and co-funded through the Erasmus+ Accreditation funds.
