The Physics Department organised two visits for its second-year students to two University of Malta faculties.
The first group, that was led by Ms Elaine Chetcuti, visited the Department of Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics, Faculty of 福利在线免费 & Communication Technology where they were given a talk by Prof. Edward Gatt followed by a tour of the Faculty.
The second group attended two talks by Dr Odette Lewis and Dr Alexia Mercieca from the the Faculty for the Built Environment and were then given a tour of all the Faculty laboratories by Dr Adrian Mifsud. In the laboratories, the students were given detailed explanations of the machinery and the projects being done by the Faculty students.
The aim of these visits was to help the JC students make informed decisions on their career paths.
