Starting Junior College is the start of an exciting new chapter, and Hello Freshers! has been all about helping JC students settling in, making new friends and getting their first taste of what JC student life is really about.
On Monday, 22 September 2025, the Principal welcomed the parents and guardians of new students at Sir Temi Zammit Hall during two evening orientation sessions, where guardians were given an overview of operations, procedures and important information related to their children's journey.
One of the first highlights of the week was a special address by the JC Principal and Vice-Principal, who spoke to the first-year students themselves about the educational journey they are embarking upon. Orientation meetings for each subject choice were also held between Wednesday 24 and Tuesday 30 September, helping students ease into their courses.
To make the transition smoother, a detailed, hour-by-hour plan of activities was shared , ensuring that everyone could make the most of what the week had to offer.
Dignitaries that visited Hello Freshers 2025 included the President of Malta, H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, the Prime Minister of Malta, Hon. Dr Robert Abela and Dr Lydia Abela, Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Dr Alex Borg, Minister for Inclusion and Voluntary Sector, Hon.
