UM hobbies series ‘UMplugged’ continues into the new academic year

Launched just a few months ago, UMplugged — the University of Malta’s video series highlighting the unique hobbies and passions of students, administrative and technical staff, has already featured everything from chess champions to musicians, artists, athletes, and more.

Now, as we kick off a new academic year, the series is still going strong, and we want you to be part of it.

Each short episode offers a glimpse into the diverse and often unexpected interests that make our UM community so vibrant. Whether it's something creative, active, quirky, or calming, UMplugged celebrates the things that bring us joy outside our studies and work.

If you’ve got a hobby you love, this is your chance to share it. You don’t need to be a pro, just passionate.
