A study documenting the Order of St John’s Caribbean venture during the mid-17th century has just been published.

The work is entitled 'Knight Buccaneers, and Sugar Cane: The Caribbean Colonies Of The Order Of Malta'. It is based on original unpublished sources and contemporary maps of the period is co-authored by Dr William Zammit, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Library ¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÃâ·Ñ and Archive Sciences. The book has been published by Midsea Books.
