Professor Anthony (Toni) Aquilina’s translation, from French into Maltese, of the poem "Cet accent..." by the acclaimed French poet Georges-Marie Lory, has been included in an anthology published by Bruno Douvey.

The translation into Maltese is found alongside the French original together with another 134 translations of the same poem in these many languages around the world. This explains why the anthology (ISBN: 978-2-36229-156-2) bears the name: 136.

According to the publisher, “[n]ever a published book will have been so singular… This extravagant book has its origins in Georges-Marie Lory’s love for languages.” Lory is also a journalist, a translator and a diplomat specialising in South African affairs.
