During the weekend 20-22 April, the Faculty of Engineering participated at the Malta Robotics Olympiad (MRO) 2018.
The MRO is one of the biggest public technology events in Malta organised by the Ministry of Education. This year鈥檚 event was spread out over 3 full days, attracted more than 15,000 visitors, and was held at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta鈥橯ali.
The Faculty of Engineering was present at this event with 20 lecturers, 12 technical and administrative staff members and several students presenting a great variety of exhibits. These exhibits included various robotic hands, manufacturing robots, electric and mechanical machines and electric circuits. The University of Malta racing team also showcased their engineering masterpiece, the Formula SAE race car.
