Prof. Paul A. Bartolo received the Tom Oakland Outstanding International Scholar Award 2018 from the International School Psychology Association (ISPA) at its Conference in Tokyo.
  
The award is given annually to an ISPA member ‘who has demonstrated exemplary scholarship contributing to international school psychology that merits special recognition’. Prof. Bartolo has coordinated and been consultant for several national and European projects on inclusion and diversity.
  
He is currently Project Advisor for a study on ‘The Changing Role of Specialist Provision in Supporting Inclusive Education’ run by the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education’. He has published widely particularly in the areas of professional practice in educational psychology and in inclusive education. He is currently overall coordinator of the MPsy professional training programme for psychologists in the Department of Psychology.
