Education is a lifelong and lifewide process. It is an intellectual birthright which, when fostered and nurtured, enables all individuals to flourish.
Since its foundation, the Faculty of Education has provided a significant contribution to teacher education and to several related fields. It has done this, both locally and internationally, through its scholarly involvement in projects and initiatives, and by means of its engagement in schools, with research and in policy making.
While the faculty鈥檚 commitment to teacher formation is central, it also serves society by offering a wide range of courses in education, ranging from early childhood education and care, to multiple adult education specialisations, to mentoring and school leadership, to facilitating inclusive education and to further specialisation in various disciplines.
This video underlines the importance of education in society, and how the teaching profession contributes to the development of all - both individually and collectively.
