At the 118th meeting of the Board of Governors of the Joint Research Centre, Professor Emmanuel Sinagra of the Department of Chemistry was elected to Senior Vice Chairman of the Board by his peers. The Joint Research Centre is the European Commission's science and knowledge service helping the commission in evidence based policy design. Prof Sinagra has been a member of the Board of Governors since 2014.
