Prof. Borg delivered the keynote speech 'Authentic Parent-Professional Partnership in Higher Education – From Theory to Practice', at the 12th Biennial Conference of the European Research Network About Parents in Education (ERNAPE), held at the University of Gdańsk, Poland, between 18 and 20 September.
He was keynote speaker at the annual conference of the MED Confederation, held at the Bardo National Museum in Tunis, between 1 and 2 October. The MED Confederation conference focused on 'The Mediterranean in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution: the impact of digitalization on human capital and mobility'. At this international event high-level representatives and experts from the public and private sectors analysed the future of the Mediterranean Region and the ways to deal with present and upcoming challenges related to the fourth industrial revolution. Prof. Borg's keynote speech was entitled ‘Education in the Fourth Industrial Revolution’.
