Professor Giovanna Bosica, from the Department of Chemistry, presented a poster entitled 'Revisiting multicomponent reactions under new green conditions' at the 1st International Green and Sustainable Chemistry Conference in Beijing, China, October 2019.
The poster won the Elsevier Best Poster Award. It focused on green organic synthesis research work carried out by Professor Bosica's research group work, zooming particularly on work done by her Masters students.
The conference was organised by the Chinese Chemical Society in collaboration with Elsevier to address the broad scope of Green and Sustainable Chemistry. Over 600 representatives from 52 countries and regions contributed to this conference and topics included green chemical engineering and industry, sustainable chemistry in a global perspective and sustainable chemistry in the environment and health, amongst others.
